Basketball Recap: Carmichaels Comes Up Short

Carmichaels lost against Jefferson-Morgan back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Carmichaels Mighty Mikes took a blow against the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets, falling 68-27. The Mighty Mikes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-8.

Jeremiah Robertson was a one-man wrecking crew for Jefferson-Morgan as he shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. Jase Bedilion was another key player, going 8 of 11 on his way to 18 points.

Carmichaels' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jefferson-Morgan, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Carmichaels will venture away from home to challenge Bethlehem Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson-Morgan, they will face off against West Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Jefferson-Morgan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
