Volleyball Game Preview: Skyview Hawks vs. Rocky Mountain Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Skyview Hawks will take on the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Skyview sitting on five straight wins and Rocky Mountain on ten.

Skyview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Eagle, who was ranked 16th at the time (Skyview was ranked second). The Hawks put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Skyview relied on the efforts of Chloe Lin, who had 15 assists and seven aces, and Lizzy Bower, who had eight digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Lin a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Skyview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Owyhee on Tuesday.

Skyview's record is now 24-6. As for Rocky Mountain, their record now sits at 24-5.

Skyview beat Rocky Mountain 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
