Flag Football Recap: Avery Kakar and Reylynn Lazarin Lead the Defense for Crismon Win

Crismon never let their opponents score on Saturday. They snuck past the Benjamin Franklin Chargers with a 6-0 victory. This was payback for the Rattlers, who suffered a 21-10 loss the last time these two teams met.

Crismon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Avery Kakar and Reylynn Lazarin.

Crismon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.3 points on average over those games. As for Benjamin Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Crismon has already played their next matchup, a 32-0 win against Goldwater on the 18th. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will host Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Chargers 4.6, the Knights 4.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
