Basketball Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short

New Brockton lost against Luverne last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Brockton Gamecocks took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luverne Tigers. The Gamecocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Brockton's record now sits at 5-7. As for Luverne, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Brockton and Georgiana will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Georgiana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.4 points per game this season. As for Luverne, they will be home for the holidays to greet Highland Home at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
