Landon Kidd posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Kidd's strong effort led Shasta over Foothill and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
