            Baseball Recap: Campolindo Cougars vs. Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Campolindo blew Clayton Valley Charter out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Thursday Clayton Valley Charter got their revenge. The Cougars fell just short of the Ugly Eagles by a score of  5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  loss the Cougars have suffered  against the Ugly Eagles since April 20, 2021.
Campolindo got a good showing from  Justin Nagayama, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Nagayama has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Campolindo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Augie Martinez, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
Campolindo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Clayton Valley Charter,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-7.
As of now, neither Campolindo nor the Ugly Eagles have any future games scheduled.
