Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Eli Mavarez stepped things up a notch to give Beachside the 'W'. Mavarez turned in his biggest game of the season, getting on base in three of his six plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.

Looking ahead, Mavarez and Beachside will challenge Providence School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barracudas will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 82 places lower in Florida), but they're not letting that get them down.
