Football Recap: Thunder Ridge Skates Past Centennial with Ease + How To Watch

The matchup between Thunder Ridge and Centennial on Friday hardly resembled the 21-3 effort from their previous meeting. The Titans blew past the Patriots, posting a 48-14 victory. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Centennial's loss came despite strong showings from Charlie Farris and Madden Henderson. Farris picked up 92 receiving yards and two scores, while Henderson threw for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Farris got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 62 yards.

Thunder Ridge has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points this season. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Thunder Ridge and Centennial could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings. The Titans (ranked 35th) will meet Hillcrest (ranked fourth) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centennial will challenge Eagle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (52 vs. 3).
