Basketball Recap: Bonneville Bees vs. Blackfoot Broncos
Bonneville lost against Blackfoot back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bonneville Bees fell to the Blackfoot Broncos 57-53. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Blackfoot got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Arave out in front who posted 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Arave has scored at least a third of Blackfoot's points. Kasen Sorensen was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Blackfoot, their record now sits at 10-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonneville will square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Bonneville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Blackfoot, they will take on Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Blackfoot is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
