Softball Recap: Lamar County Finds Playoff Glory Versus Blacksher

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lamar County walked away with it. Everything went their way against Blacksher on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-2 victory. This was payback for Lamar County, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lamar County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Blacksher, their loss dropped their record down to 33-8.
