There's no place like home for Dekaney, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the MacArthur Generals on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Michael Hayes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Hayes was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. He has become a key player for Dekaney: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 12-13 otherwise.

In other batting news, Dekaney let Romeo Flores and Anthony Cruz run wild. Flores scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Cruz scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Flores a new career-high in RBI (three). Aziz Muhammad was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Dekaney was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .536. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Dekaney's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for MacArthur, their record now sits at 13-10.

Dekaney will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Generals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
