Football Recap: San Jacinto Valley Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for San Jacinto Valley Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Temecula Prep Patriots by a score of 14-6 on Thursday. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 39-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

San Jacinto Valley Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Nickolaus Alvarenga.

Despite the loss, Temecula Prep still got an impressive performance from Azael Bello, who rushed for 145 yards and one score. Bello also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.

The victory got San Jacinto Valley Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Temecula Prep, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
