Football Preview: Bethany Bronchos vs. Chickasha Fighting Chicks        
        
		
             After each having a week off, the Bethany Bronchos and the Chickasha Fighting Chicks will dust off their jerseys to  square off against  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bethany has three straight  wins, Chickasha has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Two weeks ago, Bethany was able to grind out a solid  victory over Jones, taking the game  36-29.
 Bethany got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jackson Payne out in front who threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt. What's more,  Payne also racked up 28  rushing yards, the mosthe's  had since back in August of 2023. Another receiver making a difference was  Wyatt Geissler, who picked up 132 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, Chickasha was beaten by Anadarko 58-28 two weeks ago. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Fighting Chicks have suffered  against the Warriors since September 1, 2017.
 Bethany's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chickasha, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Bethany strolled past Chickasha in their previous meeting  back in October of 2021 by a score of  38-20. Will Bethany repeat their success,  or does  Chickasha have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
