Volleyball Recap: Research Triangle Victorious

Research Triangle won the last time they faced Chatham Charter and things went their way on Friday too. The Raptors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raptors.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 21-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Research Triangle can attribute much of their success to Kat Liquorie, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Research Triangle was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Research Triangle now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chatham Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
