Volleyball Game Preview: Questa Wildcats vs. Escalante Lobos + Official Tickets

The Questa Wildcats will square off against the Escalante Lobos at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Questa challenged Penasco on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Escalante played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. Everything went their way against Penasco as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lobos not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Escalante's got stronger as the match went on, holding Penasco to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.

Escalante's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Questa, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Questa skirted past Escalante 3-2 when the teams last played on October 7th. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
