Kenai Central is a perfect 4-0 against Redington since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Kardinals will take on the Huskies at 3:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Kenai Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Palmer, who was ranked 11th at the time (Kenai Central was ranked sixth). The Kardinals' defense stepped up to hand the Moose a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Kenai Central, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Palmer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brynnen Hanson (3), Christine Goering (2), Katie Johnson, and Ellee Pancoast.

Meanwhile, Redington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 7-4 to Monroe Catholic.

Kenai Central is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those eight contests. As for Redington, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
