Smith Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 49-34 bruising from the Ellis Railroaders. The Redmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railroaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Smith Center lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Leah Mckelvey, who posted five points and seven rebounds.
