Football Game Preview: Scott Highlanders vs. Roane County Yellowjackets

Scott is 1-7 against Roane County since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Highlanders will welcome the Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Scott's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so Roane County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Scott got the win against Union County by a conclusive 28-6. Considering the Highlanders have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Roane County beat McMinn Central 27-16 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Scott better keep an eye on Taeshuane Hamilton. He was instrumental in Roane County's win, picking up 87 receiving yards and one TD.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Roane County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
