Berkeley Prep proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Wesley Chapel Wildcats 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Buccaneers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rivers Kurland tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
