Reeths-Puffer had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fruitport Trojans. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Reeths-Puffer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Fruitport is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
