Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Seminoles vs. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix

Having just played yesterday, the Southeast Seminoles will jump right back in to play the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Southeast is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 29, 2023 on Friday. They skirted past Alonso 62-59. 62 seems to be a good number for the Seminoles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Southeast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamarri Bivens, who posted 24 points. With that strong performance, Bivens is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Jalen Byrd was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate strolled past Nature Coast Tech with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-43.

Southeast has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
