South Pike fell victim to Tylertown and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Chiefs. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost five in a row.

South Pike's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Tylertown, the win snapped their losing streak at ten games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Looking ahead, South Pike will host Amite County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 17-game losing streak. Tylertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
