Baseball Recap: Bonita Beats Claremont for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bonita had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Claremont on Tuesday. Bonita blew past Claremont 7-0. The victory was nothing new for the Bearcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Adam Raab looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Andrew Sanchez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Arredondo, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Bonita pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Claremont, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Bonita will have a chance to go back-to-back against Claremont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
