Basketball Recap: Thomas County Central Wins Going Away Against Maclay

The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets made easy work of the Maclay Marauders on Monday and carried off a 72-51 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Yellow Jackets just coasted through the last quarter.

Despite the loss, Maclay still got an impressive performance from Christopher Foos, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 15 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colson Miller, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Thomas County Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Thomas County Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-76 win against Bainbridge on the 18th. As for Maclay, they have also already played their next game, a 52-45 defeat against Aucilla Christian on the 18th.
