Basketball Recap: Palmyra Cougars vs. Ephrata Mountaineers
If Palmyra was riding high fresh off their 56-29 takedown of Brandywine Heights Area last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Palmyra Cougars took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ephrata Mountaineers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mountaineers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.
Palmyra's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ephrata, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmyra will take on Cedar Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ephrata, they will face off against Elizabethtown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
