Volleyball Game Preview: Ocracoke Dolphins vs. Hobgood Charter Raiders + How To Watch

Ocracoke is 0-5 against Hobgood Charter since October of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dolphins are taking a road trip to face off against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Ocracoke turned things around against Mattamuskeet on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lakers. The game was the first time the Dolphins have beaten the Lakers on their court since September 28, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hobgood Charter got the win against Columbia on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hobgood Charter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-12.

The win got Hobgood Charter back to even at 10-10. As for Ocracoke, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Ocracoke might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Hobgood Charter in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Dolphins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
