Rancho Mirage put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Nuview Bridge Knights with a sharp 13-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Rattlers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gael Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Martinez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Rancho Mirage got a big performance out of Ezra Aparicio, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jaden Labit, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Rancho Mirage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nuview Bridge only posted an OBP of .118.

Rancho Mirage pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Rancho Mirage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Woodcrest Christian on the 22nd. As for Nuview Bridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cornerstone Christian on the 22nd.
