Softball Recap: McMichael Phoenix vs. Heide Trask Titans

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McMichael walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Heide Trask Titans on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Phoenix as they're now sitting on four straight.

Lindsay Redmon was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, McMichael let Olivia Wilson and Ryleigh Cope run wild. Wilson went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Cope went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
