Silver Creek's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Christian Academy Warriors with a sharp 66-41 victory. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Dane Caldwell was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high. Kasen Daeger was another key player, putting up eight points.

Silver Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christian Academy only racked up nine assists.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joshua Renfro, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was David Cook, who had 15 points.

Silver Creek pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will head out to challenge Brownstown Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brownstown Central will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Silver Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lanesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season.
