Gross Came Up Big in Athens' 21-19 Defeat

Athens had to settle for second on Friday, but Brogan Gross sure wasn't going down easily. Gross was dynamite, throwing for 201 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 44 yards.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when Golden Eagles dukes it out withColumbia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles, probably because Gross had a solid game then too: he threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
