Basketball Recap: Kirtland Finds Home Court Redemption Against West Geauga

There's no place like home for Kirtland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 48-34 win over the West Geauga Wolverines on Monday. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

The victory got Kirtland back to even at 4-4. As for West Geauga, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kirtland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jefferson Area at 12:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025. West Geauga will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Geneva at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. West Geauga is facing Geneva at the right time seeing as Geneva is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
