Basketball Recap: Canyon Lake Takes a Loss

Canyon Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 63-55 to the Bastrop Bears. Canyon Lake was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Bastrop earlier this season, when they won 56-39.

Canyon Lake now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Bastrop, their record is now 9-10.

Canyon Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-37 defeat against Montgomery on the 28th. Bastrop has also already played their next contest, a 52-45 loss against Fredericksburg on the 28th.
