Volleyball Recap: Scottsburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scottsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Silver Creek Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-6.

Kailyn Gibson paced Scottsburg's offense, picking up three kills. Gibson got some help from Taren James and her ten assists. Olivia Spellman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Silver Creek to victory were Dannah Kerberg and Mia Ferrell. Kerberg had six digs and six aces, while Ferrell had six digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Ferrell a new career-high in assists (two).

Scottsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Silver Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Scottsburg will face off against Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Austin on the 27th.
