Softball Recap: Bristol Eastern Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Bristol Eastern and Berlin, and Berlin kept the tradition alive. The Lancers came up short against the Redcoats on Monday, falling 6-0. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redcoats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Bristol Eastern has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Berlin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Bristol Eastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 win against Hall on the 13th. As for Berlin, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Platt on the 13th.
