Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, Riverside-Brookfield didn't have enough. They fell 2-0 to the Naperville North Huskies on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Michael Austin paced Riverside-Brookfield's offense, picking up four kills. Austin got some help from Liam Keohane and his seven assists.

Riverside-Brookfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Naperville North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Coming up, Riverside-Brookfield will face off against Fenton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fishers, they will challenge Lockport at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
