Basketball Recap: Bishop Mcnamara Falls Short Against Ranked Gonzaga

Bishop McNamara is ranked highly in their home state and on Sunday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Gonzaga. The Bishop McNamara Mustangs were dealt a 90-57 loss at the hands of the Gonzaga Eagles. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-23.

Bishop McNamara now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Gonzaga, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-4.

Bishop McNamara does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gonzaga, they and Paul VI will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Monday without much rest, having both just played. One thing working in Gonzaga's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
