Volleyball Game Preview: Canyon Springs Cougars vs. Valley View Eagles

Canyon Springs is 0-10 against Valley View since October of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Canyon Springs came up short against Heritage and fell 3-1.

Canyon Springs started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-13, 27-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Valley View lost 3-0 to Hemet on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.

Valley View's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-11. As for Canyon Springs, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
