Football Game Preview: Manasquan Warriors vs. Camden Panthers + Official Tickets

The Manasquan Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Camden Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Manasquan comes in on six and Camden on three.

Manasquan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They breezed past Johnson to the tune of 35-0. Considering the Warriors have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Camden). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Voorhees 53-0. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Vikings are ranked 154th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manasquan better keep an eye on Ahmad Jones. He was instrumental in Camden's win, throwing for 340 yards and five TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ah'Zeir Pagan, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Camden's defense and their nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jerome Foster and Haleem Muhammad, who racked up six sacks between them. Foster is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Talib Shakir got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Camden's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Manasquan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
