After a string of five wins, Minooka's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yorkville Foxes. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Foxes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20.

Jayce Moore paced Minooka's offense, picking up eight kills. Moore got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his ten assists.

Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Yorkville, their win bumped their record up to 9-21.

Looking ahead, Minooka will welcome Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Yorkville, they are taking a road trip to take on Plainfield East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
