Elkhorn Valley relied on the efforts of Korbin Werner, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 16 boards, and Kellyn Ollendick, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Ollendick's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Black, who posted nine points.
Elkhorn Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 13-5 when they've passed the ball that well.
