Hudson Falls had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Amsterdam on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 13-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.

Lainey Dunbar looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Mya Strong was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Hailey Blanchette also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Hudson Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Hudson Falls' record is now 11-4. As for Amsterdam, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Coincidentally, Hudson Falls and Amsterdam will both be playing Queensbury the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
