Volleyball Recap: Packinghouse Christian Academy's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Packinghouse Christian Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Bethel Christian Kings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Packinghouse Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-12.

Miranda Nordquist paced Packinghouse Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Nordquist got some help from Savannah Ybarra and her 19 assists. Nordquist was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

When it comes to explaining why Bethel Christian lost, don't look at Leah Lopez. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and four assists.

Packinghouse Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Bethel Christian, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-20.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Packinghouse Christian Academy and Redlands Adventist Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bethel Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against California Lutheran on the 10th.
