Burwell is 10-0 against Palmer since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Burwell Longhorns will be playing at home against the Palmer Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Burwell suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-29 loss at the hands of St. Francis. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Burwell in their matchups with St. Francis: they've now lost three in a row.
Landon Critel was Burwell's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.
Wryder Svoboda held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-20, which was the final score in Palmer's tilt against Burwell on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Palmer has suffered against Burwell since January 29, 2019.
Burwell's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11. As for Palmer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
