Soccer Recap: Copley's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Copley had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Norton Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Copley were the better team in the second half.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Norton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copley will head out to take on Cuyahoga Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norton, they will square off against Chagrin Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Norton's defense better be ready for this one: Chagrin Falls have averaged an impressive 4.8 goals per game this season.
