Manti hadn't done well against Carbon recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Manti Templars blew past the Carbon Dinos 56-32. The Templars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manti to victory, but perhaps none more so than June Olsen, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on her way to 23 points and eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Olsen has scored at least a third of Manti's points. Another player making a difference was Baylee Denton, who posted seven points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

Carbon's loss came despite strong showings from Malia Smith and Bailey Curtis. Smith had nine points, while Curtis scored seven points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points.

Manti's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Carbon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Manti will venture away from home to square off against North Sanpete at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carbon, they will square off against Emery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
