Softball Recap: Aletheia Christian Academy Find Success

Aletheia Christian Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Snook Christian Academy Eagles 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since April 8, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Leah McMorris, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Katelyn Davis was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Aletheia Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.3 runs over those games. As for Snook Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
