Basketball Game Preview: Douglas County Huskies vs. Ponderosa Mustangs

Douglas County is on a three-game streak of home losses, Ponderosa a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Douglas County Huskies will host the Ponderosa Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Ponderosa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Douglas County, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Douglas County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glenwood Springs, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa came up short against Castle View on Friday and fell 61-54.

Douglas County's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Ponderosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Douglas County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ponderosa in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 66-60 win.
