Meanwhile, Church Farm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 14-11 to Jenkintown. On the bright side, the 11- run effort marked the Griffens' highest-scoring game to date.
Savion Weaver-Diaz was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out 11 batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Weaver-Diaz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Emmanuel Parsons made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Caleb Fulmer was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Church Farm's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Dock Mennonite hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. It's a different story for Church Farm, though, as they've only averaged .171. Will they be able to contain Dock Mennonite's hitters?
Dock Mennonite was able to grind out a solid victory over Church Farm in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 14-11. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Griffens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
