Football Game Preview: Harbor Pirates vs. Marina Mariners + How To Watch

Harbor hasn't had much luck against Marina recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Mariners at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harbor lost 44-24 to Pajaro Valley two weeks ago. Despite 101 more yards than the Grizzlies, the Pirates couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Hudson Coffey Pennell, who rushed for 71 yards and two TDs.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-14, which was the final score in Marina's tilt against Santa Cruz on Thursday. The contest marked the Mariners' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marina, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
