Soccer Recap: Independence Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Independence gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Harpeth Hall Honeybears a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Independence were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Caroline Brown.

Coming up, Independence will square off against Father Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harpeth Hall, they will face off against Brentwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
